This is a wrap I made using the needle-felting machine. The fiber is alpaca.
I grabbed a handful of fibers to start and, patiently, needle-felted them until they meshed and locked with one another into ’something’ other than individual, fly-away hairs. Eventually, from the single to the whole! ’Eventually’ translates into roughly 2.5 hours per square inch.
It is simply a dream to wear and I am quite proud of it. Here are other views, including a detail shot.![]()

Read your post about dyeing sateen – enjoy it, the sheen will amaze you, and with higher thread count cottons, you can do some salt effects, too, by slightly thickening your dye solution.
